We have a very small garden/mud patch with an ugly concrete area in the corner. Bamboo transformed the space with artificial grass and paving. It feels double the size. The team came when I was told they would, were hardworking, polite, tidy and very tolerant.
Turfing FAQ’S
Autumn and spring are the optimum times for turfing, as cooler temperatures and more consistent rainfall support faster root establishment. That said, turf can be laid year-round as long as the ground is not frozen or waterlogged. We will advise if conditions make it sensible to wait.
We handle everything. Good ground preparation is the single most important factor in how a new lawn establishes and lasts. We excavate to the correct depth, address any drainage issues, incorporate topsoil where needed, and level the surface before laying begins.
We recommend staying off newly laid turf for at least two to three weeks to allow the roots to knit into the soil. Light foot traffic is usually fine after the first mow, which typically happens at around three weeks depending on the time of year and how quickly the grass takes hold.
In many cases, yes. We offer over-seeding, scarification, levelling, and top-dressing to restore tired lawns without full replacement. Where the underlying ground is very poor or the lawn has significant drainage issues, a complete lift and relay is usually the better long-term option. We will give you an honest assessment.
